A new series of BBC classic Doctor Who will be shown in 2005 and this time the writing team includes our Steven Moffat!!
The main writer is Russell T Davies, the creator of Queer as Folk, and you need no explanation why he was chosen!

The cast is yet to be annouced, but names like Alan Davies aka Jonathan Creek and comic genius Eddie Izzard came up. Alan for the Doctor and Eddie for the Master will be my dream come true!

ドクター役には、ジョナサン・クリーク（イギリス版エラリー・クイーン？青臭くて繊細な名探偵）でおなじみのコメディアン、アラン・デイヴィスと、天才コメディアン　エディー・イザードの名前が上がってるそうです。実は、コミック・リリーフ（チャリティ番組）のパロディでしか見たことのない、ドクター・フーですが、アランがドクターで、エディーが宿敵マスター役なら、速攻DVD買います！！うひゃー！
