BBCの現代版シャーロック世界12カ国に放送権。日本はまだorz

BBC Worldwide has sold drama series Sherlock, its recent re-imagining of the world's most famous detective, into 12 territories, including France, Russia, Canada and Ireland.

The deals take the total number of territories that have licensed the show to 19. The series has landed European pick-ups in Russia (CH1 & CH5), Czech Republic (Czech TV) Slovenia (RTV Slovenia), Estonia (ETV), Serbia (RTS), Ireland (RTE) and France (France Television).

It has also been bought by New Zealand's national broadcaster TVNZ, as well as Showcase in Canada. In South Africa and Latin America, it has been picked up by BBC Entertainment Africa and BBC Entertainment Latin America respectively.

The BBC1 series was coproduced by Hartswood Films and Masterpiece, and stars Benedict Cumberbatch (Hawking) as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman (The Office) as Dr John Watson.
